By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers who attempted the kidnapping of a 2 year old baby on the 21st January 2023 at Angwa Shado a suburb of Gusau metropolitan. Parading the suspects at the State Command Headquarters Gusau, the State Commandant , Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu said that the suspects who are meanly teens were arrested in connection with attempted forceful kidnapping of a 2 year old baby by name Hawau Masaud whom the elder sister by name Umalkaidi Shahibilu 13years was carrying during and errand in the area. Parading the suspects to newsmen in Gusau,  the committee Commandant Bello Bakyasuwa said, the suspects have been apprehended in various places in Gusau for committing what they are accused of. This was made known to newsmen in Gusau by the Chairman of the Committee, Bello Bakyasuwa, while parading the suspects, adding that,  the suspects were arrested during a rally organised by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to welcome its gubernatorial candidate for allegedly violating Executive Order No. ll. The Court set aside a judgment of the Federal High Court sitting in Gusau, the Zamafara state capital presided over by Justice Aminu Bappa Aliyu which earlier nullified the process of the primaries that gave Lawal the party’s ticket as its gubernotorial  candidate hence rules that PDP had no candidate in the state. In it’s ruling the appellate Court comprising a three-man panel of judges concurred with the lead judgment of Justice Muhammad Shu’aibu, who ordered the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) to accept Lawal as the elected governorship candidate of the PDP in Zamfara State for the 2023 general election.
