Tinubu To boost Agriculture, Mining Activities In Zamfara

Zamfara NSCDC Command Parades Suspected Kidnappers Of A 2 Year Old Baby

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers who attempted the kidnapping of a 2 year old baby on the 21st January 2023 at Angwa Shado a suburb of Gusau metropolitan. Parading the suspects at the State Command Headquarters Gusau, the State Commandant , Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu said that the suspects who are meanly teens were arrested in connection with attempted forceful kidnapping of a 2 year old baby by name Hawau Masaud whom the elder sister by name Umalkaidi Shahibilu 13years was carrying during and errand in the area. Anti Thuggery Committee Apprehends 15 For Armed Robbery, Phone Snatching, Others In Zamfara

Parading the suspects to newsmen in Gusau,  the committee Commandant Bello Bakyasuwa said, the suspects have been apprehended in various places in Gusau for committing what they are accused of.   By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna It was excitement and fanfare at the courts of the Kotoko Barracks on Saturday night, as hard fighting Dalet Barracks Spikers spiked their way to victory to be crowned champions of the second edition Kaduna U-19 Inter Barracks Volleyball Championship. Their efforts sea them go home with a giant trophy, medals and a cash prize of N200,000. They claimed the top prize after scoring maximum nine points  from three matches played, overpowering their opponents in all matches played in the round Robbin fixture. Second position went to Bayonet Spikers of Jaji, who won two out of their three matches, garnering six points in the process. They were rewarded with a trophy, medals, and N150,000 cash prize. In the first game played between the Dallet barrack and the Base Hawks, the Dallet boys proved their superiority when they white washed the Hawks 3:0 The first set ended 25:17 Second set 25:17 and the third set ended 25:13 all in favour of the Dallet barrack boys. The governor made this known while addressing newsmen in Maradun town, Maradun Local Government Area of the State on Friday, saying that, only security operatives were empowered by law to carry AK-47 rifles or any other sophisticated weapon. This was made known to newsmen in Gusau by the Chairman of the Committee, Bello Bakyasuwa, while parading the suspects, adding that,  the suspects were arrested during a rally organised by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to welcome its gubernatorial candidate for allegedly violating Executive Order No. ll. According to him,  the anti-thuggery order was given by Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state to promote peace and stability in the state. Barely 24 hours, after a Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto Cleared Dauda Lawal Dare to Contest for governoship candidate under the flatform of The People Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State.  The party said that all merchineries have been put in motion to  kick start its campaign for the 2023 general elections, adding that  Sunday 15th was slated for flagging off its campaign rally.  Mukhtar Lugga, the acting chairman of the party in the state made this known to journalists today in Gusau. Appeal Court Clears Dauda Lawal Dare As Zamfara PDP Gubernotorial Candidate.

The Court set aside a judgment of the Federal High Court sitting in Gusau, the Zamafara state capital presided over by Justice Aminu Bappa Aliyu which earlier nullified the process of the primaries that gave Lawal the party’s ticket as its gubernotorial  candidate hence rules that PDP had no candidate in the state. In it’s ruling the appellate Court comprising a three-man panel of judges concurred with the lead judgment of Justice Muhammad Shu’aibu, who ordered the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) to accept Lawal as the elected governorship candidate of the PDP in Zamfara State for the 2023 general election.
