Zamfara NUPENG To Partner NSCDC To Fight Insecurity

The Zamfara state chapter of National Petroleum and Gas Workers has said that, it will collaborabe with the Zamfara Command Of Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) in the fight against insecurity, vandals and diversion of PMS and AGO products.

This was contained in astatement signed by the Commands spokesman,  Ikor Oche, and made available to newsmen in Gusau.

According to the statement, the members of the Union led by Alh. Shuaibu Muh’d who paid a courtesy visit on the state commandant of the corps, Commandant Bello Muazu on today said that,  the purpose of the visit was to welcome and create acquittance with the State Commandant.

The Chairman said, NUPENG has a good working history with the Corps in Zamfara State and called for sustainance of the working synergy which has endared the Union to the Corps in the recent past.

Alh. Shuaibu Muh’d reiterated that Civil Defence Corps in Zamfara State has been of veritable role in the activities of the Union in the state.

He therefore extolled the Corps in the cordinated efforts in the fight against insecurity, vandals and diversion of PMS and AGO products.

The Chairman who also doubled as the PTD Chairman promised to collaborate with the Corps in order to achieve her mandates.

In his reactions, the  State Commandant , Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu commended the leadership of NUPENG for the visit.

He appraised the bold steps of the leadership to collaborate with the Corps in the fight against insecurity, vandals and diversions.

Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, however enjoined the Union to close ranks with the Corps to regulate the pump prices of the petroleum products in order to cushion the endemic hardship on the Civil populace.

He also charged the Union to sincerely collaborate with the Corps in order to achieve the desired goals.
