By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau

Late arrival of election materials in some polling units at Kauran Namoda local government has caused total delay in which some electorates who are desparates to cast their vote have started loosing confidence .

The affected poling units include, Red block 035 poling unit kaura, where electoral officers came  at around 12:30, pm, and that of Kyambarawa 016, and their Bvas machines are not in good order, as they are not working properly.

By this ugly development voters remain stranded for some hours waiting for the arrival of materials.

Late arrivals of these election materials to the affected  polling units constituted a major problem to the exercise

Some of the stranded voters at the effected centers who expressed  dissatisfaction with the situation, blamed INEC for what they saw as poor arrangement.

The INEC officials were seen doing their best to ensure that the affected Bvas were put into uses, and they succesfully rectified and over come the problem and voting started immidiately.
