Gov, Nasiru Elrufa'i Commends INEC For Smooth Conduct Of Presidential, Others Elections

 The  Kaduna state governor Malan Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for the smooth conduct of today presidential and House Representative Elections.

   El-rufai made the recommendation today in an  interview with newsmen immediately after casting his votes at Marnona Polling Unit,024, Unguwar Sarki Kaduna.

 The governor said, he was not happy over the  low turnout of people most especially women as according to him, women are playing important role n his polling unit.

   He appealed the people in the state to come out and cast their votes, stressing that it is the day that determine the one that would rule the country for the next four years.

 Also speaking, the state All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate, Senator Uba Sani who cast his votes at, No 041 Airport/LEA, Kawo Kaduna, descibed that, the today's elections is done in an orderly manner that allowed the electoral to cast their votes without any stressed and taking much time.

   "Bvas machines played  a very tremendous efforts by making the elections past and simple, considering the previous elections.

 Addressing  journalists on situation reports, the state commissioner of police, Mr Sunday Babaji said, elections in Kaduna state is going smoothly across the state considering  the commencement of the polls at all polling units visited.

  He also explained that, the report received from Birnin Gwari and Giwa local government areas that elections are  going fine.

Guber Election:- Zamfara NSCDC Deploys Adequate Personnel, Cautions Them To Be Neutral

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has deployed adequate number of it's personnel for the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Zamfara State. Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, the state commandant of the Corps stated this while addressing the combat ready officers and men in the state command headquarters Gusau.  This was contained in a statement signed by the commands spokesman, Mr Ikor Oche SC and made available to newsmen in Gusau. The NSCDC helmsman in Zamfara State averred that security of life and properties in the state is sacrosanct and of utmost importance to the Corps before, during and after the elections. Guber Election:- Zamfara PDP Will Not Accept Results If Bvas Are Not Use

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau Barely three days to gubernotorial elections in Nigeria, The Zamfara state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has insisted that Bimodal voter accreditation system Bvas  must be used during the accreditation of voters, other wise it will not accept any results that Bvas are not used. The publicity secretary of state PDP gubernotorial candidate in the next coming election Faruk Shatiman Rijiya made the declaration today in Gusau, while briefing newsmen on their stands. He said, their party will not accept manual accreditation of voters, insisting that bvas must be used, as according to him they have officially notified state INEC on their decission and no going back.
