Arewa Youths Demand Immediate Arrest Of Former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha

The Arewa youths Association has demanded the Inspector general of police for the immediate arrest, interrogation and prosecution of the former governor of Imo state retired Hon.Emeka Ihedioha for commiting crimes.
The crimes which clearly linked him in sponsoring insecurity, wanton killing and destruction of properties in the state since 2020 when he lost the power.
The demand was contained in a statement signed and made available to news men by the group's chairman, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Sani at Arewa House Kaduna.
According to the statement, the former governor was caught on phone conversation where he said that, "Hope Uzodimma and Imo state will never experience peace until he get back to power," and his deputy Gerald Irona also had openly declared that, they will make the state ungovernable for Uzodimma."
The statement however warned that "since he's still laying claim the fraudulent victory which saw him illegally occupying the state government house for six months, time has come for the police to arrest all those involved in the electoral heists of 2019 and them face the law.
The group' also have berate and disassociate their self from the recent statement by fake group masquerading as Arewa Youths, that purportedly blamed the state governor for the attack on the house of an opposition member of PDP in the state.
"Any one who is conversant with the governor's character and activities knows that, he could not uttered such an accusation knowing fully that our relationship with the state government is cordial.
The authors of these Satanic verses are imposters who camouflaged under the name of Arewa youths to cause confusion and instability in the state.
The group however, pass a resounding vote of confidence on governor Hope Uzodimma for his sterling performance in his three years in office, "we congratulate him and urge him not be deterred or distracted by the wickeds acts of the opposition in the state.
