2023:- Persons With Disability In Northwest Endorse Atiku Abubakar For President

The people's with disability in north western zone of Nigeria have endorsed the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president for the 2023 elections.

  The endorsement was made at a town hall meeting organised by the PDP peoples with disability for Atiku 2023, which recently held at Arewa House in Kaduna.

  Speaking at the event, senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, said "we decided to support Atiku Abubakar because he is the only candidate that is inviting us and also  involved us in  his campaign council.

   Senator Hayatu however revealed that, "when he invited us to celebrate the international day for persons with disability in Abuja, he promised to provide five percent slots in his cabinet to represent peoples with diability  in the government if elected.

 "That is why we established this summit in order to mobilize our members in all states in the zone, for them to get awareness members in their respective states, local government, Wards and the polling units."

   In his address the deputy director north (PWD) PDP presidential campaign council, Mr Ephraim Balarab, called on the PWD members to come  massively and vote for Atiku Abubakar, because the county is looking some one that is  credible, integrity, energetic and competent to work for Nigeria.

"We never have government that considers PWD as credible, the government have not create any avenue for our representation"

"We are greatful to the present government of Muhammadu Buhari who established the commission of person with disability."

 Also speaking at the event, the  representative of Women,  Hajiya Aisha Aliyu, appealed to the politicians  not to abandon  women especially the married ones that are leaving in their husband's houses.

  "We are not enjoying  anything from the government, I assured that all the PWD women are going to cast their votes to Atiku Abubakar in the the next coming elections.

   While addressing the journalists after the event, the co ordinator Zamfara state PDP, PWD campaign council, Alhaji Umar Shehu, urged all their members in various states to make sure they vote for PDP from the grassroots up to the national levels.

  " I am calling on all the PWD members in Zamfara state to massively vote for Dr Dauda Lawal Dare for his commitment to save the state from menace of insecurity, poverty, unemployment and mismanagement of government funds.

Guber Election:- Zamfara NSCDC Deploys Adequate Personnel, Cautions Them To Be Neutral

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has deployed adequate number of it's personnel for the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Zamfara State. Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, the state commandant of the Corps stated this while addressing the combat ready officers and men in the state command headquarters Gusau.  This was contained in a statement signed by the commands spokesman, Mr Ikor Oche SC and made available to newsmen in Gusau. Guber Election:- Zamfara PDP Will Not Accept Results If Bvas Are Not Use

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau Barely three days to gubernotorial elections in Nigeria, The Zamfara state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has insisted that Bimodal voter accreditation system Bvas  must be used during the accreditation of voters, other wise it will not accept any results that Bvas are not used. The publicity secretary of state PDP gubernotorial candidate in the next coming election Faruk Shatiman Rijiya made the declaration today in Gusau, while briefing newsmen on their stands. He said, their party will not accept manual accreditation of voters, insisting that bvas must be used, as according to him they have officially notified state INEC on their decission and no going back.
