By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna People's Democratic Party's stakeholders under the auspices of the PDP Vision Movement, has debunked the rumour making the rounds that the gubernatorial candidate of People's Democratic Party (PDP), Isa Ashiru had signed an agreement with the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to allocate 80 per cent of political appointments to the Association, if emerged. The group called on the public to disregard the allegation, adding that it is an attempt to further divide the state along religious line by some politicians who do not mean well for the state. The Zamfara central senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon, Ikira Aliyu Bilbis, has today challenged the state Independant National Electoral Commission for refusing to declare him on his victory in the last Zamfara Central senatorial election held on 25/2/2023.  Ikira Aliyu Bilbis stated this at a press conference held at the Dauda Lawan Dare  Party Office in Gusau, the state capital.  The senatorial candidate stated that the Zamfara State INEC  Commissioner, Prof. Ahmad Galadima was sent to the state to  conduct free and fair elaction of both President and National Assembly. The election which was held during their 7th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference 2023, at Labour Office in Gusau where the new leaders were elected after the dissolution of former leaders, and new leaders will now run  the affairs of the chapter for the next four years. Those elected are, Comrade  Sani Haliru as the Chairman who scored 24 votes against his opponent Babangida Zurmi who scored zero vote. The publicity secretary of state PDP gubernotorial candidate in the next coming election Faruk Shatiman Rijiya made the declaration today in Gusau, while briefing newsmen on their stands.
