Guber Election:- Zamfara NSCDC Deploys Adequate Personnel, Cautions Them To Be Neutral

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has deployed adequate number of it's personnel for the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Zamfara State. Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, the state commandant of the Corps stated this while addressing the combat ready officers and men in the state command headquarters Gusau.  This was contained in a statement signed by the commands spokesman, Mr Ikor Oche SC and made available to newsmen in Gusau. The NSCDC helmsman in Zamfara State averred that security of life and properties in the state is sacrosanct and of utmost importance to the Corps before, during and after the elections. Kaduna: Stakeholders Debunk 80% Agreement Of Political Appointment To CAN By PDP Guber Candidate

By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna People's Democratic Party's stakeholders under the auspices of the PDP Vision Movement, has debunked the rumour making the rounds that the gubernatorial candidate of People's Democratic Party (PDP), Isa Ashiru had signed an agreement with the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to allocate 80 per cent of political appointments to the Association, if emerged. The group called on the public to disregard the allegation, adding that it is an attempt to further divide the state along religious line by some politicians who do not mean well for the state. Bilbis Challenges INEC For Refusing To Declare Him Winner Of Zamfara Central Senatorial Seat

The Zamfara central senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon, Ikira Aliyu Bilbis, has today challenged the state Independant National Electoral Commission for refusing to declare him on his victory in the last Zamfara Central senatorial election held on 25/2/2023.  Ikira Aliyu Bilbis stated this at a press conference held at the Dauda Lawan Dare  Party Office in Gusau, the state capital.  The senatorial candidate stated that the Zamfara State INEC  Commissioner, Prof. Ahmad Galadima was sent to the state to  conduct free and fair elaction of both President and National Assembly. According to him, all the reaults of every zone have been announced, but only Zamfara Central Senatorial Election, has not been announced for a reason best known to him. The election which was held during their 7th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference 2023, at Labour Office in Gusau where the new leaders were elected after the dissolution of former leaders, and new leaders will now run  the affairs of the chapter for the next four years. Those elected are, Comrade  Sani Haliru as the Chairman who scored 24 votes against his opponent Babangida Zurmi who scored zero vote. The publicity secretary of state PDP gubernotorial candidate in the next coming election Faruk Shatiman Rijiya made the declaration today in Gusau, while briefing newsmen on their stands.
